Minister Mayanja Cancels Fraudulent Land Title in Kakumiro, Over 2,000 Families Get Relief on Land DisputeThe State Minister for Lands, Sam Mayanja, has cancelled a contested land title in Kyakateera village, Kakumiro District, offering relief to more than 2,000 families who have faced eviction threats for over a decade. The disputed title, registered as FRV 583 Folio 20 on Bugangaizi Block 1 Plot 8 measuring 196 acres, had been claimed by Lawrence Bazaara. However, the minister said investigations found it was fraudulently acquired in violation of the Land Act.
