2026 AMDA Nyabwina Parish Caravan Launched, Outreach Shifts to Specialised Care & Economic Empowerment for Sheema Communities![]()

The 2026 AMDA Nyabwina Caravan has been officially launched by the Vice President of Uganda Her Excellency Jessica Alupo, with this year’s outreach targeting St. Claret Parish in Nyabwina, Sheema District. Now in its 12th edition, the annual caravan has shifted from general outreach to more specialised interventions, featuring 13 specialist clinics, medical camps, and economic empowerment programmes aimed at supporting underserved communities. Speaking at the launch, Alupo highlighted government’s partnership with AMDA in advancing rural transformation and sustainable development.
