Speaker Among Launches the 15th Edition of the Rotary Cancer RunThe Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Anita Annet Among, has officially launched the 15th edition of the Cancer Run, scheduled for August 30 under the theme “Gwanga Mujje.” Speaking at the launch held at Nsambya Hospital this morning, Among reaffirmed government’s commitment to supporting cancer prevention and treatment initiatives across the country. She also delivered UGX 3 billion in financial support from Yoweri Kaguta Museveni toward the construction of a fully-fledged Cancer Treatment Facility at Nsambya Hospital. Among called and rallied Ugandans to turn up in large numbers to support the cause and offer hope to those battling cancer.
