Preparations for the Golden Jubilee celebrations of St. Mbaaga Major Seminary are complete ahead of the main event scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, with key infrastructural projects ready for blessing and commissioning. These include a commemorative Jubilee Gate and an expanded seminarians’ refectory, which will be unveiled before the official celebrations begin. Speaking in an exclusive interview with Uganda Catholic Television, Rev. Fr. Vianney Ssekalaala, a Formator and lecturer at the seminary, confirmed that all arrangements are in place for a smooth and prayerful celebration. The event will be presided over by the Archbishop of Kampala Archdiocese, Paul Ssemwogerere, under the theme, “The Favors of the Lord I Shall Recall,” drawn from Isaiah 63:7.![]()
